Picking up a trustful and worthy source of such particular and critical information was the most important thing to quest for. Well, after checking out all bookstores and the on-line bookstores websites, I have found a very straight to the point and authors who are experts in their field of studies. People who I trusted their books are Glade B. Curtis M.D., M.P.H. (Gynecologist) and Judith Schuler, M.S. They work together to published 14 books together. Both books were written by them.

The first book called “Your Pregnancy for the Father-to-be”. It was written with the needs and concerns of the ‘dad-to-be’ in mind, the book starts with essential pregnancy information and terms for expecting couples, the lifestyle changes for them, ways to support your wife, changes in your life as an expectant dad, your relationship, being a part in the pregnancy, the financial realities of parenthood, if your wife faces a pregnancy problems, preparing for the baby’s arrival, childbirth preparation, labor, and delivery, after your child birth, and things that husband needs to know before the next pregnancy. This book through me away with the amount of information and things I won’t know by myself. I really liked the short reading breaks where the author brings up some of the rumors such as your mother-in-low saying and all the brownie points in the dog house, which states a strong message for you as a reader.

The second book called “Your Baby’s First Year Week by Week” which is considered to be read by both parents. It’s mainly considering and focusing in your my baby’s 1st year in week by week basis in deep details. The book begins with a briefing about the period just before your baby’s birth and his 1st 48 hour after birth. Then it creates a 52 weeks journey until reaching your baby’s first birthday. The author tries to highlights your baby average weight and tall, baby care and equipments needed changes in breastfeeding and bottle-feeding each week. Plus very important issues such as the illness your baby might catch, tasks needs to be covered, the milestone of each week, accomplishment you may see with your baby’s physical , senses and reflexes, his mind, and his social development. If there are any events that might occur in any particular week (etc. baby-wellness checkups), the book is highlighting it with a brief discussions. Different toys and play you can do with your child as he grows up in weekly manner. As a closing to the book, the author states several emergency situation and how can you handle it professionally, a glossary with all the medical terms used in the book, and a rich resources of all kind of important contacts that might be helpful (etc. breastfeeding information and organizations.)
